Risk and Compliance Officer ASO6 | Port Adelaide, SA

Our South Australian Government client is seeking a Risk and Compliance Officer to join a collaborative and fast-paced team environment for a short-term assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your analytical and compliance skills within a large and supportive government agency.

YOU | You bring a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to hit the ground running. You are confident with data analysis, compliance assessments, and reporting, and are comfortable working independently to tight deadlines. You will also bring:

• Data analysis and reporting experience

THE ROLE | The Risk and Compliance Officer will work under the direction of the Process Management Team Manager. This role is responsible for reviewing user access processes, identifying compliance gaps, and recommending structured improvements. Key responsibilities include:

• Review and assess current user access reviews and processes.
• Identify areas of non-compliance and develop structured recommendations to address issues.
• Create supporting documentation and progress updates to track implementation.
• Contribute to overall compliance and risk efficiency improvements within the team.
