Test Lead ASO8 | Adelaide CBD, SA

Our South Australian Government client is seeking a Test Lead to join a collaborative and fast-paced team environment for a short-term assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your test management skills within a large and supportive government agency.

YOU | You bring a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to hit the ground running. You are confident with test management, planning and execution, financial reporting and are comfortable working independently to tight deadlines. You will also bring:

• Qualifications in Project Management are desirable, but not essential
• Experience with financial reporting/accounting
• Experience with Oracle, Zephyr, Jira and Opkey
• A sharp attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage high volumes of work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly

THE ROLE | The Test Lead is accountable for the planning, coordination, and execution of all testing activities to validate that the new financial management system meets established acceptance criteria. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts to validate the configuration and functionality of the new financial management system.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing activities across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment with program timelines and quality standards.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, working closely with technical teams and vendors to address issues promptly.
• Provide regular reporting and assurance to the Program Director on testing progress, risks, and readiness for implementation.
