Our South Australian Government client is seeking a Assistant Financial Accountant to join a collaborative and fast-paced team environment for a short-term assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your test management skills within a large and supportive government agency.
YOU | Bring your experience, business acumen, relationship management, and communication skills to this varied Senior Accounting Role to support the goals of the team and broader department. Along with your strong customer focus, attention to detail and commitment to teamwork, you will also show the following to be a successful candidate in this role:
• Degree in Accounting, Financial Accounting
• Knowledge of public sector financial frameworks, legislation and processes
• An understanding of DTF, its strategic objective and the broader SA public service context
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively in a team environment, whilst demonstrating advanced time management and organisational skills
• Experience in undertaking finance-based project work
