Data Officer

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Data Officer to join a 2-month government project team in Adelaide, SA.

YOU | You will bring strong data analytical skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights. You’re proficient in Excel (including advanced functions and tools), and ideally have experience using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), R, and R Markdown. Your ability to learn quickly, adapt to new systems, and build rapport with stakeholders will see you thrive in this dynamic role.

THE ROLE | You will support the data team with the preparation and development of several key reports. Tasks may include data collection, input, analysis, and automation. You’ll also assist with the development of visually engaging dashboards and reports, using your technical knowledge and eye for detail. This role requires a full-time commitment and an immediate start and may involve contributing to additional projects as required.

THE CLIENT | Our client is a government organisation based in Adelaide’s CBD, focused on environmental data, reporting, and sustainability. The team works collaboratively to deliver high-impact outcomes that inform public policy and improve environmental performance across the state.
