Service Desk Officer (ASO3) | Port Adelaide
An ideal contract role for an ASO3 Service Desk Support Officer seeking opportunity within a fast-paced, customer-focused government environment? Port Adelaide location to June 2026.
YOU | Bring your experience in customer service and business systems support, along with your commitment to delivering high-quality service, to this great opportunity within a South Australian Government setting. Your professional communication style, strong attention to detail, and ability to work confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders will see you succeed in this role. You will also bring:
• Experience in a customer service or call centre environment
• Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience
• Experience using Basware and CHRIS21
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to manage high volumes of work and meet deadlines
• A current National Police Clearance (mandatory)
THE ROLE | You will provide front-line support to users of government business systems, working both independently and as part of a collaborative Service Desk team. Provide timely and high-quality front-line customer service to stakeholders via phone and email. The role requires the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and proactively identifying and solving problems. You will also collaborate with your team to achieve daily targets and actively contribute to shared goals.
