Administrative Officer (ASO2 / ASO3)
Are you looking for a short-term Administrative Officer opportunity in a dynamic and customer service focused team?
YOU | Bring your experience in payroll, accounts or office administration and your passion for providing exceptional customer service to this exciting opportunity within a collaborative government setting. You will also bring:
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel & Outlook (e.g., data entry and spreadsheet work)
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage high volumes of work and prioritise effectively
• Experience on the phone, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
• Proven reliability and strong team collaboration skills
THE ROLE | You will play a key role in supporting payroll and administrative processes within the Sheriff’s Office. Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating building access, invoice coding in Basware and general administrative tasks
• Running reports and supporting internal processes, including recruitment and stationery orders
• Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders to provide timely support and resolve queries
• Managing Cab Charge vouchers, maintaining documentation and ensuring process compliance
• Supporting daily and fortnightly payroll activities, including timesheet coding, master data entry and leave processing
• Working collaboratively to meet team targets and deadlines in a busy environment
