Relationship Manager | Western Downs, QLD

Utilise your relationship management skills to support and grow a diverse portfolio of regional commercial and agribusiness customers in this Relationship Manager opportunity based in the Western Downs region of Queensland.

• Manage a portfolio of commercial and agribusiness customers and deliver tailored lending solutions
• Build strong networks across the local community to drive new business growth and referrals

YOU | You are a motivated and community-minded relationship manager with a strong interest in regional commercial and agribusiness banking. You will enjoy building long-term relationships with customers, understanding their operations, and delivering banking solutions that support their growth and sustainability. You will be confident engaging with a range of industries, proactive in identifying new opportunities, and disciplined in your approach to credit quality, risk management and compliance. Ideally, you will also possess:

• Experience in commercial banking, agribusiness banking or business lending
• Strong relationship-building capability, with a genuine customer-first approach
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow an existing portfolio
• Sound understanding of credit assessment, lending fundamentals and risk frameworks
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

THE ROLE | You will manage a portfolio of regional commercial and agribusiness customers, providing tailored lending and banking solutions to meet both working capital and long-term funding requirements. Working closely with a supportive team, you will identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships, grow share of wallet and deliver strong customer outcomes.
