Test Analyst (AS05) | Adelaide CBD

Join a leading South Australian Government agency based in the Adelaide CBD as a Test Analyst on a short-term contract, supporting a landmark transformation program modernising financial management systems across Government.

YOU | Bring your expertise in system testing and finance process validation to a high-impact reform initiative. You will also demonstrate:

• General knowledge of finance business processes and procedures within complex environments, and the ability to apply this knowledge to future-state systems and processes.
• Experience across testing methodologies and techniques, including System Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Proven ability to develop, execute and manage test plans, test scripts and test scenarios in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders..
• Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures including Code of Ethics, Equal Opportunity, cultural inclusion, WHS requirements

THE ROLE | Play a key role in delivering a major whole-of-government transformation program.

• Support the Test Lead in delivering high-quality testing of the future finance solution configuration and business processes.
• Assist in the preparation, coordination and execution of all testing phases, including data preparation and end-to-end testing of the new Financial Management System.
• Participate in daily testing calls and defect triage meetings, and contribute to the production of daily and weekly test metrics.
• Execute testing activities in accordance with agreed plans and schedules, recording results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify, analyse and escalate issues and risks, ensuring defects are properly documented and managed through to resolution..
• Uphold Public Sector principles and practices, including Equal Opportunity and Work Health and Safety.
