Business Support Officer

Join a dynamic Government Agency as a Business Support Officer, providing critical support to the People & Safety team within a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

YOU | Bring your strong administrative experience and ability to deliver efficient, high-quality business support within a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail, organisational skills and proactive approach will ensure success in this role. You will also bring:

• Demonstrated experience prioritising workloads and meeting tight timeframes
• High level of integrity with the ability to manage confidential information
• Strong proficiency across Microsoft Office and business systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience providing administrative support within a team environment
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team
• Familiarity with procurement processes and general business operations (desirable)

THE ROLE | Join a supportive People & Safety team where you will deliver comprehensive business support services. You will:
• Maintain records management systems and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Safety team
• Manage team inboxes, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel, events and logistics
• Raise purchase requests and assist with accounts payable queries
• Prepare agendas, take minutes and support reporting and presentations
• Manage SharePoint content and support internal communications
• Coordinate stakeholder requests and ensure timely responses
• Contribute to team projects and continuous improvement initiatives
