Learning & Development Program Planner | Pathway Opportunity
Are you a skilled Learning & Development professional with experience planning and managing corporate and technical training programs? We are seeking a proactive Learning & Development Program Planner to support a high-performing People & Safety team within a well-regarded South Australian government organisation.
YOU | We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on creating efficient, data-driven training programs that ensure compliance and capability across the workforce. You excel at coordinating with stakeholders, optimising schedules, and using insights to continuously improve learning outcomes. You are confident managing operational requirements while keeping safety, quality, and workforce development at the forefront.
• Proven experience planning and managing corporate and technical training programs
• Strong capability in using data to monitor participation, completion, and compliance trends
• Experience building effective stakeholder relationships across operational teams, trainers, and business leaders
• Skilled in developing and sequencing training schedules that optimise attendance and minimise operational disruption
• Proficient in LMS and/or PowerBI reporting to provide actionable insights
• Strong understanding of operational and safety-critical environments
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable)
THE ROLE | In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and continuous optimisation of South Australia’s corporate and technical training programs. You will schedule training sessions, manage enrolments, liaise with trainers and stakeholders, and use data to drive program improvements. You will ensure workforce compliance, support operational needs, and maintain high-quality learning experiences while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Safety, governance, and compliance are central to every aspect of this role.
