Risk Management Specialist | Adelaide

Are you an experienced risk professional with a strong background in technology risk, governance and compliance? We are seeking a proactive Technology Risk Management Specialist to support a leading South Australian organisation in strengthening risk frameworks and driving a strong risk culture.

YOU | You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong understanding of risk management principles across technology environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, engaging with stakeholders to identify, assess and manage risks while ensuring alignment with governance frameworks. With excellent communication and influencing skills, you are confident facilitating risk discussions, driving accountability and supporting continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in technology or enterprise risk management, including risk and control assessments
• Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance frameworks
• Experience managing risk registers, risk profiles and reporting processes
• Ability to facilitate risk workshops and engage with cross-functional stakeholders
• Knowledge of technology risk domains including cyber security, resilience and operations
• Experience supporting internal and external audits and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

THE ROLE | In this role, you will support the delivery of the Technology Risk Management Program, working closely with stakeholders to identify, assess and manage risks in line with enterprise frameworks. You will maintain risk registers, facilitate risk reviews and workshops, monitor controls, and ensure effective risk treatments are implemented. You will also contribute to governance processes, risk reporting, audit coordination and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
