Are you an experienced Project Support Officer looking for your next opportunity within State Government?

We are currently seeking a Project Support Officer for a full-time temporary assignment based in Port Adelaide, working within a specialised financial services team.

YOU | Bring your experience in project and administrative support to this fast-paced government environment. Your strong attention to detail, ability to manage high volumes of work, and confidence liaising with a range of stakeholders will see you succeed in this role. You will also demonstrate:

- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
-Strong data entry, analysis, and reporting capability
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail
-Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities
-Strong numerical reasoning and problem-solving skills
-Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes

Experience in payroll, call centre environments, financial reporting, or accounts payable/receivable will be highly regarded, along with exposure to systems such as CHRIS21, Basware, Oracle, or Valeo.

THE ROLE | As a Project Support Officer, you will provide critical support to project and operational functions within the team. Responsibilities include document preparation, reporting, agenda coordination and minute taking, as well as supporting data-related activities such as cataloguing data storage and conducting time observation studies. You will play a key role in supporting process improvement and ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.
