Customer Service Officer (ASO3) | Port Adelaide, SA
Are you looking for a Customer Service opportunity in a dynamic Service Desk team within a fast-paced government environment?
YOU | Bring your experience in customer service, call centre, accounts or administration and your passion for delivering high-quality support to this exciting opportunity within a government Shared Services environment. You will also bring:
• Experience in customer service (call centre or service desk environment)
• Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable processes
• Experience with Basware and/or CHRIS21 (desirable)
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel (e.g., data entry and spreadsheet work)
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with a professional phone manner
• Ability to manage high volumes of work and prioritise effectively
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems
• Proven reliability and strong team collaboration skills
• Current National Police Clearance (mandatory)
THE ROLE | You will play a key role in supporting a Service Desk team within a shared services environment. Key responsibilities include:
• Provide timely and high-quality front-line customer service via phone and email
• Grant user access and resolve functionality issues across systems including Basware, CHRIS21, HR21 and Masterpiece
• Support Purchase Card Expense Management (EMS) and ANZ Transactive
• Assist with administrative tasks including tenders, contracts, and system support activities
• Run reports and support internal processes within the Service Desk environment
• Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders to provide timely support and resolve queries
• Maintain accurate records and ensure process compliance
• Work collaboratively to meet team targets and deadlines in a busy environment
