Chef Manager- Aged Care Expression of interest
TR3 & Career Scout is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced and passionate hospitality professionals interested in supporting residents across a range of aged care facilities throughout South Australia.
Hospitality teams play a vital role in creating a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. We are seeking individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional service while contributing to the wellbeing and quality of life of older Australians.
• Providing the best operational kitchen leadership to ensure high quality, resident centred aged care.
• Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of individualised care plan menus in accordance with legislation and IDDSI guidelines.
• Manage and cater for complex resident dietary needs, including various diets, allergens and within IDDSI meal guidelines
• Drive staff development through training identification, coaching, and performance support, regular team meetings and updated company knowledge and policy requirements.
YOU | Minimum 1-3 years' experience as a Chef/ Chef Manager or similar leadership position-ideally within an aged care/ allied care environment
Must be available to work core full time hours as required by company/ site- this could include weekends, afternoons, and public holidays.
Cert III or similar recognised catering qualification is essential.
Current unrestricted working rights in Australia
Have a valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
Police clearance (within one year) or ability to get one
WWCC- working with Children's check- or ability to get one.
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred, as some facilities may require travel
• Minimum 1–3 years' experience within hospitality, catering, food services, housekeeping, cleaning, or hotel services
• Previous experience within Aged Care, Healthcare, Disability Services, Hotels, Hospitality, or Commercial Catering environments highly regarded
• Understanding of infection control, food safety, and hygiene practices
• Food Handling Certificate (desirable for catering and kitchen-based roles)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach when interacting with residents
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred, as some facilities may require travel
