MAS3 Program Office Lead

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Program Office Lead to play a pivotal leadership role in a major enterprise-wide Finance Reform Program. Based in Adelaide CBD, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the Program Office function supporting the implementation of a new Oracle Financial Management System that will transform financial operations across multiple South Australian Government agencies.

YOU | Bring your experience leading Program Management Office (PMO) functions within large-scale transformation programs, along with exceptional stakeholder management and governance expertise. You thrive in complex project environments, enjoy bringing structure to large programs, and have a proven ability to lead teams while driving high-quality project outcomes. You will also bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading a Program Office or PMO within a large, complex transformation or enterprise-wide project
• Proven ability to develop and maintain project plans, governance frameworks, risk and issue registers, reporting and program documentation
• Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring project support or PMO teams
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with experience working across executive, technical and operational stakeholder groups
• Demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within complex, fast-paced environments
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks and continuous improvement principles
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly across reporting and documentation
• Experience leading or supporting Oracle Financial Management System (FMS) or Oracle ERP implementation programs will be highly regarded
• Experience working on large ERP, Oracle, SAP or enterprise system implementation programs
• Experience with organisational change management, Jira and/or Confluence

THE ROLE | As Program Office Lead, you will lead the delivery of a high-performing Program Office supporting one of South Australia's most significant finance transformation initiatives. Working closely with the Program Director and Deployment Manager, you will oversee governance, reporting, planning, scheduling, risk management and executive reporting to ensure the successful delivery of the program. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Program Office function and providing guidance to the broader PMO team
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, governance documentation, risk and issue registers and status reporting
• Coordinating governance forums, steering committee meetings and executive reporting packs
• Supporting program planning, deployment activities and cross-functional coordination across multiple workstreams
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and escalating issues to support timely program delivery
• Building strong relationships across government agencies, project teams and senior stakeholders
• Driving consistency, continuous improvement and best practice program governance across the Finance Reform Program
• Ensuring project documentation and records are maintained in accordance with government policies and legislative requirements
