ASO7 Product Designer (UX/UI)

Are you an experienced Product Designer with strong UX/UI expertise looking to contribute to a major digital transformation program? We are currently recruiting for an exciting 6–8 month contract opportunity with a leading South Australian Government organisation, commencing September/October 2026, with the possibility of extension depending on project timelines and deliverables.

YOU | Bring your experience in UX/UI and product design to this exciting opportunity. You'll have strong experience developing responsive digital designs, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity user interfaces, with a proven ability to translate complex business and user requirements into intuitive and engaging digital experiences. Your strong stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills will see you thrive in this collaborative Agile environment.

THE ROLE | You will play a key role in supporting Phase 2 design work for the Learner Profile Program, developing high-quality digital experiences across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms. Working closely with end users, business stakeholders and project teams, you will create sketches, wireframes, prototypes and detailed UI designs, undertake user research and testing, contribute to design systems and style guides, and provide UX/UI guidance to ensure solutions meet business, accessibility and user needs. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant digital program while working alongside an experienced project team.
