Logistics Officer | Mount Barker, SA

Are you an experienced logistics, inventory or warehouse professional looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Officer to join SA Water's Supply Chain team in Mount Barker, supporting operational teams across South Australia.

YOU | Bring your experience across inventory management, warehousing, procurement or logistics, along with a strong customer service mindset. You'll be organised, accurate and confident working with suppliers, internal stakeholders and operational teams. A current High Risk Forklift Licence and Class C Driver's Licence are essential.

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence – essential
• Current Class C Driver's Licence – essential
• Experience in inventory, stores, warehousing or logistics is highly regarded
• Understanding of procurement and inventory management processes, or the ability to learn quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively and build effective stakeholder relationships
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

A technical or administrative qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

THE ROLE | Working within SA Water's Supply Chain team, you'll provide inventory, procurement and logistics support to operational customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day inventory and store operations
• Picking, packing and coordinating delivery of goods
• Conducting accurate stocktakes and maintaining inventory records
• Processing stock adjustments, requisitions, transfers and orders
• Supporting procurement and purchasing activities, including low-value procurement
• Managing relationships with suppliers, field personnel and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring accurate orders, invoices, requisitions and inventory records
• Maintaining safe, clean and well-organised storage areas
• Following WHS, procurement and corporate compliance requirements
• Supporting business partners with stores, procurement and inventory processes

This is a full-time, 6-month temporary opportunity based in Mount Barker. Flexible hours and some after-hours work may be required, along with occasional intra/interstate travel.
