ASO2 Payroll Officer | Adelaide

Are you looking for a short-term Payroll Officer opportunity within a supportive, customer-focused team?

YOU | Bring your payroll, accounts or administration experience and a strong commitment to customer service to this South Australian Government opportunity. Your positive attitude, attention to detail and ability to build rapport with stakeholders will see you thrive in the role. You will also bring:

• Call centre or customer service experience – essential
• Payroll, Chris21, Valeo or similar systems experience – desirable
• Data entry, bookkeeping or similar experience
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Proven reliability and a collaborative approach

THE ROLE | Working both independently and as part of the team, you will support accurate and timely payroll processing while responding to queries and meeting daily deadlines. You will:

• Process payroll files and system changes
• Complete payroll data entry and timesheet coding
• Process leave applications and payroll transactions
• Work towards daily targets and team goals
• Respond to internal and external payroll queries
