AS02 Accounts Payable | Port Adelaide

Are you ready for a new short-term contract opportunity focused on high-volume data entry, invoice processing and customer service? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their Financial Services team in Port Adelaide.

• A current National Police Clearance (mandatory)
• Fast and accurate data entry skills (minimum 40wpm)
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage high volumes of work under pressure
• A demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn and ability to adapt quickly
• Previous Accounts Payable or invoice processing experience (preferred)

THE ROLE | As an Accounts Payable Officer within the Document Capture team, you will support the processing and management of incoming financial documentation, particularly invoices. Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and processing incoming invoices using a data extraction system
• Extracting and accurately entering data from invoice images
• Managing and sorting incoming mail and documentation
• Preparing outgoing mail for distribution
• Identifying and resolving issues to support accurate processing
• Working to daily targets and contributing to shared team goals
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

THE CLIENT | Our South Australian Government client offers a supportive and inclusive working environment in Port Adelaide.
