Are you an experienced customer service or sales professional looking to build a career in banking with one of Australia’s largest banks?

We are currently recruiting a Personal Banking Advisor in Preston, VIC. This is a varied, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.

YOU | Bring strong customer service experience, confidence speaking with a wide range of customers and a genuine ability to build rapport. Experience in retail sales, consultative sales, hospitality, telecommunications, insurance, automotive, financial services or another fast-paced customer environment will be highly regarded.

You will be comfortable asking questions, identifying opportunities to better support customers and having more detailed conversations about their banking needs. A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong communication skills will see you thrive in this role.

THE ROLE | As a Personal Banking Advisor, you will deliver a high level of customer service while supporting customers with a broad range of banking needs. You will take the time to understand each customer’s circumstances, identify suitable solutions and help them make confident banking decisions.

• Provide personalised banking solutions across everyday banking, personal lending, credit cards, insurance and other relevant products.
• Conduct customer needs assessments and identify opportunities to proactively recommend suitable products and services.
• Assist with lending applications, ensuring documentation and compliance requirements are accurately completed.
• Identify opportunities to connect customers with specialist teams, including home lending, business banking and other areas of the bank.
